I'm trying to decide which music player is the best to download songs from. Napster? iTunes? Rapsody? Which one?! Is it cheeper to pay for each song or to pay monthly? Thanks!

I use iTunes for downloading and find it to be divine.

I think it depends on what you're going to do with it, though.... the file format that iTunes downloads come in will burn to cds, etc., but will not work on other companies' brands of mp3 players.

As a music player, I personally think that iTunes is the best I've seen... it's extremely user-friendly, you can have a huge, organized music library, and it's really easy to import or burn cds.

*ALSO, I can't attest to how downloading from iTunes compares price-wise, but it's 99 cents a song or roughly $10 for an album (and it's almost invariably cheaper than it would be at a record store). The selection is also amazing, which I would imagine might be a problem with Napster, etc.

My only advice is to read the fine print. A lot.
