I have recently begun the process of looking for colleges. I want a college with a great MT program, but with good academics in other areas as well. I would like my college to be in New York or another town with plenty of theater opportunities. I have heard that the program at Pace University is very good. Is there anyone here that can vouch for Pace or that knows of any other great MT programs in New York? Thanks!

The two obvious answers to your question are Tisch and Steinhardt at NYU. However, you're going to have to cast your net farther than NYC to ensure that you get into a "great MT program". Acceptance rates at many programs are in the 10% range which makes all of them reaches. Have a look at the MT forum at College Confidential. It's the best online resource there is:
