One of the best was for a one season wonder called " The Time Tunnel".It involved the Titanic. It was very elaborate & the show was inventive but never caught on

A couple of months ago on NBC they had an hour long show about pilots that never made it...some of them just looked hysterically awful..and they all seemed to star either Scott Bakula or Craig Bierko. The only one that looked any good was a "Rockford Files" spin-off that never happened with Isaac Hayes and Lou Gossett, Jr.

The best pilot, hands down, is in THE WONDER YEARS when Winnie's brother dies and her and Kevin kiss for the first time.

I love the I Love Lucy pilot. Nothing like what the show turned out to be, but still funny.

I loved the "Friends" Pilot. It is still my favorite episode! so damn funny
