I'm looking for cheap plane tickets. I'm researching through Expedia and Priceline, but i was curious if anyone had great luck with any particular company?

I'm also looking to stop off in NY see a couple of shows and then finishing flying home, if that makes any difference as to where to buy.

Thanks for the help!

I use Travelocity.

I've used cheaptickets.com and also travelocity.com.

In general, I find the same deals on all of them. I've often time found the best deals by going to the airline's site directly.

I was looking for a cheap flight to Chicago for LuPone's GYPSY. All the sites I tried didn't seem to have the bargain fares. Besides, I wanted to leave from Long Island MacArthur Airport. I wasn't having luck. Finally, I drove to the airport one evening and found out which airlines fly out of that place and booked my flights right then and there.

BTW: Southwest Airline flies from Long Island to Chicago's Midway.

www.kayak.com is amazing.

It just lists the lowest fares without taking money for themselves. Travelocity had the same flight that I found on Kayak for ten dollars more, which you can book through travelocity. On kayak, you just get the website where you can get the cheapest price.
