Was anyone else thinking about her in this movie today?

I was thinking about her milking a cow and yodeling.

My dear, dear friend played the doctor who delivered the twins. He died 3 years ago next month. Roy Brocksmith. I love any opportunity to remember him and his work. So thank you, Glebb, for the chance.

Your friend must have been quite wonderful. :)

I remember walking home from work one day and seeing Bette Midler standing in front of Carnegie Deli in the polka dot dress. The scene must not have made it into the film but it was fun looking Bette Midler right in the eye.

Cheers to you and your friend Auggie27.

Well, this is really a movie I can say represents my childhood.. (Yes I'm a child of the 80's). I have an identical twin sister and so we always loved watching twin movies- our absolute favorite was the original "Parent Trap", with this a close second. I always loved the end....so Disney but sweet. :)

Bette Midler is indeed a hoot in this one. I love the scene where she imitates Joan Collins...and the one where she's standing in front of her twin but thinks it's a mirror at first. ("It's me with bad hair!")
