If only I had the money and the time.

One of my favorite things I ever saw Betty Buckley in (and yes, I saw "Carrie") was the Hartford Stage production of Camino Real.

I saw her in "Sunset Boulevard" and then in concert a couple of years ago here in Seattle. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I saw her in Sunset too, and she was the ONLY thing that was any good about that show.

Betty B. and John Barrowman in Sunset -- NOW that was a great two weeks in NYC theater!

I am a big fan of Ms. Buckley -- missed this last round at Carlye -- although I have heard her there are few other times...

One of the great diva's (and I use that term as a compliment)

We got to meet her afterwards. She signed copies of her CD in the lobby, and would take a couple of minutes (or was it seconds) to talk to you and some people even got pix.

Does she usually do that?

She did a benefit at Hartford Stage for a supporting cast member who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. The whole cast performed assorted things. Ms. Buckley did several songs, I coulda lived without Memory but one of her fellow cast members bid $1000 bucks to get her to sing it.

Afterwards I talked to her, if a bit blatheringly, and she didn't even seem all that scared! She was gracious and lovely. If a little bit scared.
