Big Bang Theory Series Finale

I will wrap it up in further detail. Sheldon and Amy win Nobel prize. Penny is pregnant. Sight gag of the night was Leonard smacking Sheldon in the face to stop him from freaking out about the attention he was getting by winning award. Everybody goes with Sheldon and Amy abroad to see them accept prize. Sheldon acts like self centered jerk while there and the group threatens to go home but decides to stay. Amy tells off Sheldon about being a jerk and he then changes his acceptance speech to be touching "thank you" to his friends.

The finale was not a classic like "Newhart" many years ago but much better than something like "Seinfeld" which was awful. If you want to be picky, you can say the two episodes were too much about Sheldon and Amy. Also, Penny went from not ever wanting children to appearing to be very happy about it. In the end, writers did pretty good job.

"Yanfeefan7, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I, on the other hand didn't laugh once. I normally don't watch the newer episodes because I felt they fizzed out years ago. I still enjoy the older reruns though. I thought they could have given Raj some closure, Stewart (spelling it wrong) could have ben given a little more scenes and they should have disclosed Penny's last name, which has never been mentioned. The perfect timing could have been a phone call from her parents when Sheldon outed her pregnancy."

Understood. It was well past the glory years when it was really funny but thought they wrapped it up pretty well. Actually, I thought it would have been better to end it the previous year with Sheldon and Amy wedding. I did not like what they did with Stewart over the years, they really made him very lame. I remember they had him actually go out with Penny on a date in the beginning and she found him funny. I agree with you that Raj got no closure. It might have been a good move to have him move back to India. They did finally get the elevator fixed but I agree it would have been perfect to have Penny's maiden name revealed.
