Big Stone Gap Help!

Well, I'm doing a book report on Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani, one of my favorite novels. But I'm in a slight crisis. I left my book at school... and now, I'm slightly screwed, because well I don't remember much.

But if you would help me with just
the outline of the story
the conflicts and the solutions
a visual image to reprsent something
and how Ave Maria would react to Terrorism, racism, Gerge Bush and poverty

I may love you forever. I really need help guys, so if you've read the book, PLEASE help me!

Have you googled it? The different book sites (Amazon, Barnes & Nobles) and book reviews may give enough of the plot to help you.

It seems to me that there are some very eccentric characters including a love interest???
