Finally, a Frank Rich column that is almost worth reading. He must have been humbled with his columns being made free again.
"Absent from this debate is any sober recognition that a Hillary Clinton nomination, if it happens, will send the Democrats into the general election with a new and huge peril that may well dwarf the current wars over race, gender and who said what about Ronald Reagan.
What has gone unspoken is this: Up until this moment, Hillary has successfully deflected rough questions about Bill by saying, “I’m running on my own” or, as she snapped at Barack Obama in the last debate, “Well, I’m here; he’s not.” This sleight of hand became officially inoperative once her husband became a co-candidate, even to the point of taking over entirely when she vacated South Carolina last week. With “two for the price of one” back as the unabashed modus operandi, both Clintons are in play."

Prior to the recent stock meltdown, the economy was doing quite well.He had a little bump in the road Bill did not have & it was 9/11
The stimulus package is wrong because it does nothing to address the problem re the sub mortgages. Everyone is to blame from greedy loan institutions to those who bought a house knowing full well they could not afford it. Many wanted a house simply to sell it years later & make a profit.

I understand you have to defend your boy George, but please try to stay in shouting diatance of reality. He's presided over 7 years of disaster. More Americans in poverty, more Americans uninsured, the only stat the rose consistantly was hme ownership and that was a bubble that has long since burst.
Amazing that Clinton just got lucky for eight years and poor George Bush, the most inept president in history got unlucky.

He ain't "my boy".
Be that as it may, we are all entitled to their opinions . I hate to break the news but GWB was not responsible for the assasination of Lincoln or Archbishop Ferdinand.

"Archbishop Ferdinand"
That's hysterical.
I think you mean "Archduke."
