Billy Joel to play final concert at Shea Stadium

Billy Joel will play Shea Stadium's historic final concert on July 16, 2008.

Titled "The Last Play At Shea, From The Beatles To Billy," tickets go on sale February 16.

He will become the first musician ever to play both Shea and Yankee Stadiums (he had a 2 night engagement there in 1991.)

Interesting. I thought this thread was going to be about Billy Joel's final concert before he retires from the music industry. Because I think he's announced one before and still came back.
