[Blank] Should Be Made Into A Play/Musical

I think The Lake House would make a great play. I just saw the movie and I love it!

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

And Starbucks will use the words 'large' and 'small', not pretentious crap like grande and tall.

I think Hitchcock's REAR WINDOW would make a good suspenseful play.
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia

re: [Blank] Should Be Made Into A Play/Musical

I read a thread like this a while back and someone said Love Actually. I have yet to see it, so i'll just leave it at that.

I have, however, recently seen the last hour and a half or so of Vanilla Sky, and because it's so confusing I think it would probably make a good play. Please don't make Tom Cruise - related comments on this, I don't particularly like him either but that's not what it's about.

I'm currently writing two musicals, well, one is in writing and one is in waiting, but I don't want to give anything away just in case... (shifts eyes from side to side...)
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

The movie "Casanova" could be a fun musical. I agree with whoever said "Love, Actually," would be a good one too. "Office Space" as a musical could be really funny *ponders*.

I would love to see "Dogville - The Musical" with a Sondheim score which would be suitable for the conceptual aspect of the source (i.e. the movie).

It's so overdone to say "Moulin Rouge" but it's true - the staging has so much potential! (And ditto on "Love Actually".)
