I just watched this movie for the first time on Lifetime. Bernadette Peters and Rachel Ward play a lesbian couple who inherit a little boy while Rachel's character is going through breast cancer treatments. I have to say, it is the most realistic, touching portrayal of a female couple I have ever seen. Has anyone else seen this?

I just saw that movie and I thought it was phenomenal!!!!!!! Not your typical Lifetime Movie.

My guess is they'll show it a few times this month. Bernadette was SOOO playing me!!! It was shocking to see myself portrayed...especially by her! Goodness. Still recovering.

Yes Rath. I've seen it before...of course anything Bernadette is in I've seen. It is an incredible movie. The acting is supurb too. It's one of those movies that you want everyone to see.

I watched it a while ago. It was really well done. I didn't realize that it was Lifetime movie.

girl, i *know* you're not a bad singer!! daisy sent me that song and i was like DUUUUUDE! these are broadway babes all the way! btw wasn't bobbie's girl made for showtime originally? one of the cable channels, i think. got some emmy nods last year if i recall correctly.

Yes, being the addicted Bernadette fan that I am, I know that was a made for Showtime movie and will be playing on Lifetime. I love that movie. I am in such awe of Bernadette all the time. She's always so incredibly amazing. I loved the movie. And isn't the little boy just the cutest thing ever?
