Hmm. Now I'm not sure which one I saw. I think it may have been Body World that I saw (the original?). Either way....creepy yet interesting.
Body World had the Archer and the Man on the Horse.
I saw "Body Worlds" and was fascinated by it, though there were certain things that did make me a little nauseous. At the end of the exhibit is a table where you can pick up a form to will your body to them.
When I saw it, I was so into it. The problem was we took our 6th graders to it and they rushed through it, not caring. I really want to go back and read more. It's really interesting!
i really enjoyed body worlds in boston.
this crap is in hartford right now and i wont go see it.
for body worlds, people had to donate their bodies to be used for this specific purpose. this new one they just took unidentified bodies from morgues. something doesn't sit right with me knowing that these people could have had a family or friends who now have no idea where they are, and their bodies are being shipped around the country on display.
I went with my Bio class in like, November.
I thought it was just so incredible, despite the lack of women but that's understandable.
My favorite, 'piece' I could youd say, was where they have a skeleton holding hands with a body of just muscles facing each other and leaning back, and as it turns out, the figure made of bones is the skelton for the muscle-body.
Theyve got some awesome things in there, definetly check it out if youve got the means.
