Booked another show!

Just fyi for anyone in the Midwest, I'll be playing "Miss Jones" in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI from August through October. Booked another show!

Should be fun!

re: Booked another show!

hehehe... Yeah! And apparently, it's only an hour and a half from Chicago, just over a half-hour from Madison, and an hour from Wilwaukee. I've never been to Madison... I hear it's pretty nice!

re: Booked another show!

Thats so awesome! I'm hoping to come see it. I live like 1 1/2 hours from there. I always see ads for Fireside on the Madison channel.

Congrats! I think you'll love it here in the midwest =]

Dancinqueen and skb2010: That would be so awesome! How cool to have some BWW'ers come see me in Wisconsin! And yep, I'm looking forward to it! re: Booked another show!

re: Booked another show!

I'm sure it'll be fine. My band toured the country years ago, and we gigged in Utah, Nebraska, Iowa, etc... I've just never been to Wisconsin. re: Booked another show! Anyway, it's about the show, not the town, and I'm looking forward to playing Miss Jones! re: Booked another show!

re: Booked another show!

Congratulations, Erika! Go stop the show now! I remember Lilias White blowing the roof off in the Broadway revival. Seriously, rock concert cheering after The Brotherhood of Man!

Thanks, jaystarr and yankeefan!

b12b: Well, we're doing the original, not the revival, so my Miss Jones sings operatically to the rafters (rather than gospel), so I'll just have to try and stop the show with my operatic chops instead of my belt! LOL (I'm actually really excited about singing soprano for a change!)

OH WOW! My boyfriend and I just might be able to make it out there for the show! YAY!!

re: Booked another show!

Congrats E! Madison is fantastic, especially being a college town makes it nice.
It reminds me of Eugene, OR where I went to college.

Make sure to go see the House on the Rock, amazing
