I have Auntie Mame blood in me, I swear, so we'd get along (for the most part anyway!).
Others-
Annie Oakley - AGYG
Jo - Little Women (Okay, the book, but the musical is comin' out soon)
Who would I hate? I'd probably want to knock out Millie if I knew her. Too much perkiness isn't good in the morning.

Christine- whiny.
Erik- whiny.
Raoul- okay, but still pretty whiny.

And Lady G. - you can't have too much Mame blood in you - the character (as well as the real person she is based on) is a very strong liberal and probably has nothing in common with you.
My guess is you're closer to Mrs. Upjohn or Mr. Babcock.

Believe me honey, Mame and I have quite a bit in common.
Not her political views, but I'm actually a pretty liberal Republican so some of our views fall into line. It works, most of the time. We'd probably get into a catfight over elections, though...

Having heard your positions on a womans right to choose, the blunder called the Iraq war, and most other social issues, you will have to explain to me any liberal points of view you do have.

-The traveling gene, I've been all over Europe, Asia, and a large part of the Western Hemisphere
-Having the flamboyant attitude
-Being multi-lingual and cultural
-Having unconventional ideas on a few things (some not necessary liberal OR conservative)
-Lots of gay friends ("and all your queer friends on Fire Island...")
-Constantly changing character for other people, never at rest with who I am- she's a living actress, in a way, I think that's the biggest thing that we have in common.
EDIT: And remember, unlike some people here, I get along with many kinds of people. If you restrict the people who you associate with strictly to one political group...then that's your problem. I have friends from all different views, no reason why I would have to agree with everything that one does to enjoy their company and friendship.

Guido, how drunk were you when you read/saw Les Mis? I don't remember parties!
edited to ask: LadyG, what are your views on women's rights? I'm curious after reading "Having heard your positions on a womans right to choose..."
