Why do people in this country think it's okay to waste precious resources and stress out an entire nation through the power of the media for their own personal gain? In the past month alone, the Wendy's chili finger story, and now this. Disturbing.

Apparently, she had "no idea" that it would turn into a National rescue effort! What a total beyotch. But from what i've see nand read the guy is no prize, either. Just sick.

my friend's mom did that... she's absolutly out of her mind and she and a friend tied her up by the river and they had the whole town in a frenzy... just plain sick. :P

And what I find even more sickening and disturbing is how much the media has covered this story. It is being used as a distraction from the terrible things that are going on in Iraq and everywhere else in the world.

I cant believe they're not charging her for a filing a false police report. I heard on foxnews that they (police/government/etc.) spent somewhere around 15,000 looking for her.....I hope she gets what she deserves!!!!
