Hey
I just learned that our fall musical this year is "Brigadoon." Now, I need help on characters. Can somebody post the voice ranges and descriptions for the lead and supporting male roles? Thank you so much!

I did this show a couple years ago...I'm going by memory here, so don't hold me to any of this:
Tommy is the lead male. He and Jeff, the other lead, are best friends. He's got a LOT of songs, and a lot of solos...definitely not an incredibly low voice. Got some high stuff in there.
Jeff (previously mentioned) is very funny. He doesn't sing. Like, at all.
Mr. Something-or-other is the guy who explains to Tommy and Jeff the whole Brigadoon deal. I don't think he sings too much, but probably in the chorus.
Charlie is "supporting" I guess, but definitely a main focus. He gets married to Jean. Two solos. Great part.
Harry is the "villain" type. He tries to destroy Brigadoon and crap. I don't think he has any solos but he definitely sings. He's fun because he's not a nice guy like everyone else..
That's the most of it.

Charlie is a high tenor and should have a boyish quality.
Harry Beaton, the villian, is a dance role.
If yuo rent the movie, don't be mislead. The movie had Tommy and Fiona dancing a lot, because it was Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse, who were better dancers than singers. There are really singing roles with very little dance.

Hey!
I just found out that I got the role of Stuart Delrymple!!! It's not a very big speaking part, but I do have some pretty big solos. I'm happy. I ended up doing "Hey There" from The Pajama Game for my song in my audition. I thought it went well.
Thanks to all of you who helped!!!
