WAIT....Did I just read correctly? David Campbell for "Company" ? David Campbell??? PULEASE..I saw this production and he was good, but no way near as good as our friend...guess those awards are political over there too..SUCKS !!!

No David Campbell won for a cabaret show (don't ask, crazy categories). A rock singer by the name of iOTA won it for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. Still say he was robbed.

Spelling Bee won last year, this years winner was Keating! A satirical musical based around a former Prime Minister (groan).

SPELLING BEE opened in Melbourne January 2006 and played through to February (subscription season). The recent Sydney season is the same cast/production presented by the Sydney Theatre Company. Don't worry Boobs, there is a reason why we are called 'downunder'.
