Broadway Dance Center or STEPS?

I recently just cut down on the classes at my hometown dance studio in order to come to the city every saturday. I've taken a few tap and theater classes at Broadway Dance Center. I tried STEPS for the first time this weekend and took a modern, tap, and a theater class. I really loved it. Does anyone have a preference between BDC and STEPS? If so, why?

I prefer BDC bc I like the instructors better. However, my best friend (who's reallllly into ballet & modern) prefers STEPS. Either way, both are great but isn't BDC is bit more expensive???

I used to see Donna McKechnie at Steps all the time. She used to look at me like she knew me but couldn't quite place who I was.

That being said, I prefer BDC. TO me, it seemed less pretentious than Steps.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Thanks for the comments, more will be apprieciated.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Did you ever talk to Donna McKechnie?

Pinky- BDC is $18 and STEPS is $15 for open classes, but in BDC you can certain packages where the classes will be $15 each. It's on the website.

Both are good - matter of preference and what fits into your schedule. I've gone to BDC more, but no real reason other than I discovered it earlier. Try a couple of classes classes at both and see which instructors you like better. At the end of the day, it's the instructors!

Gotham, I totally understand. I was always intimidated by Steps, but never felt self conscious at Broadway Dance. I loved Crystal Chapman's tap classes at Broadway Dance. One could not help but be in a good mood in tap class.

I haven't gone to Steps yet. I love BDC though.

I would always say hello to her, but never stopped to talk with her.
