Inspired by Kristin's signature lip gloss, Orion suggested similar shades in the HotPapa thread:
* Elaine Stritch's Gin Soaked, a sallow yellow shade.
* Patti LaPone's Diva *itch, a subtle shade of lip clenched purple with tones of red anger
* Nathan Lane's Moody Queen, it changes color in an instant ranging from Depressed Blue to Raging Fit Red.
But how about some special signature fragrances to go along with our kissable lips!
(True story: A perfume manufacturer who wanted to create a perfume "inspired by the spirit of the dance" in OKLAHOMA! approached Agnes DeMille for her suggestion on what to call it. DeMille replied "Exaustion".)

Ok, i'll give it a try;
Company by Stephen Sondheim; It would have a scent like old oak and aged bourbon. for the older, sophisticated man.
Dolly by carol Channing; It would something sof and ellegant with a touch of something whimsical. Maybe the scent of orchid with a slight undertone of lime.
Chita; A spicy, sensual scent. ylang-ylang and ginger
New York Girl by SJP; A light, fun scent that captures the spirit of NYC. Citris, lilac with a slight hint of vanilla.
New York Boy (the male counterpart to above) by Matthew Broderick; A sexy, fresh scent of linen and a hint of new leather

Orion, honey....
You are in the wrong profession.
Your ideas (and names) sound REALLY good and perfectly marketable!

How about WIT...a heavy, mildly nauseating scent, with just a hint of funereal bouquet.

Posted: 3/15/04 at 11:39amThank you. Maybe I am in the wrong line of work. I could start a whole new career, scent consultant to the stars

Posted: 3/15/04 at 6:02pmHow about Equus? It can have the distinct combination of a barn and the Elmer's factory? And if you sniff it too much, you may just become high off the fumes.

I think a papa scent would make you high. It would be intoxicatingly sexy.
Equus would make you nauseous, taht manure smell can really get to you quickly.

Some years ago, my friend Andrew thought of a non-Broadway related scent:
"Be abducted by the drama, the suspence and the thrill of....TAWANA!"
(Comes in a mini black plastic garbage bag)

Posted: 3/16/04 at 8:31amOk people, I have to tell you, I'm disappointed in the lack of imagination here. I thought this was a cute thread and expected, with the brilliant and imaginative minds on this board, that there would be all kinds of fun ideas springing up. Iflit was the only person to come up with something. I think you can do better than that.
