If the goal is to speed up the game, then a new rule should be that a poster can only add or subtract from each option once. They may vote more than once, but not change the score of someone they've already voted on. I'm seeing a lot of back-and-forth with some of the options that would be avoided.

But DG, that would make it last longer. I vote against the person with the lowest and for my favorite almost every time, that way the one goes down much faster and the other up. With your plan most people will stay around the same numbers.
