So far all players have responded incorrectly. The question will remain open until I get an answer from everyone.

Apparently this is a tough one.
However there are players logged on who haven't attempted an answer yet. This is curious.

10 guesses so far and none have been correct. Some people are very close.

#1Elphie wins the challenge for The Ovations.

Her correct answer came at 08:16:52 PM:
1. D
2. B
3. C

1. D. (Commedia all'improviso - totally improvised. Commedia asoggetto - developed onstage from precoveived plots or themes. Commedia erudite - amature theatre. Sabbattini was a lighting designer of the period.)

2. B. (Montigny was the first to position actors using furniture and set pieces, and to have actors speak to each other. In the past, actors would stand near the edge of the stage and direct their lines at the audience. Much like the musical staging of 'Wicked'.)

3. C. (Russian traditions were showcased by primarily Russian playwrights. When rarely performed, foreign works were strictly edited and censored to uphold Communist views.)

Only one member of The Divas attempted a guess. 1 out of 12 attempts.

Today's 1 pm EST round 4 will probably be delayed until 1:30 or so. Due to a secret reality TV host lunch meeting to be held at Mark Burnett's lair.

This actress caused a sensation playing Fanny Brice in this musical in 1964.

Name the musical, the actress, and the Broadway theatre where it played.

3 Questions
1-who is our "tribe leader"
2how did the leader get picked?
3-what powers dose the leader have?

I don't think either team has a leader now.
They're not really needed (a new strategy is used to deal with ties).

The person with the largest number of votes against them in previous rounds is voted off if there's a tie.
Although we haven't voted at all yet, so I don't know what would happen then...

Right, that's why the rule was changed.

ETA: oh, I get it now. Yeah, but there's nothing that can be done about Munk getting voted off because that's how the rule was at that time. I guess the best thing was just to make sure it won't happen to anyone else. Updated On: 4/15/05 at 04:17 PM

Here's the deal with the "munk" situation.
He had the highest number of votes (tied) that week. He was aware of the rules. I sent him 3 PMs asking for his vote within an hour of when they were due. He was also online at the time.

If anything it was unfair to the person he was tied with, because he as the team leader would have voted for himself to stay in. A person should never be able to vote for themselves to stay.

The rule was changed after he was voted out. Not before.

In the event of a tie (isn't going to happen) without previous votes, the top two vote getters would be put up for a "re-vote" by the remaining tribe members.

The voting was as follows:

Well, on to round 5...

re: BroadwayWorld Member <i>'Survivor'</i> Official Thread

The Stephen Sondheim song "Can that Boy Foxtrot", used in this 1996 film, was a song cut from the original stage production of one of Sondheim's great musicals.

Name the film and the musical that it was originally cut from.

The first correct answer to my PM inbox wins immunity for their tribe. Survivors ready? Go!
