If she did it, the Democrats would cheer, the Republicans would boo her, and the swing voters would either think that she was nuts, or that she's a strong woman- split down the middle.
Sooo...I think that she isn't helping her husband at all during this election. People are supposed to be voting for her husband, not for HER.
Just goes to show that if a woman speaks her mind as a "straight shooter" people think she's crazy. But if a man does, then he's "plainspoken" and should be cheered.

I don't think that it has to do with her being a woman, but with the political parties. The response I list in the posts has nothing to do with her being a woman- but the political parties themselves.
It has little to do with the fact that she's a woman - it has more to do that she's a pistol and that she's not the one who is running! I personally find her quite refreshing, but I live in DC and we are long overdue for someone with some attitude in this town.
But I think kissmycookie's point is valid. The same qualities that Bush is praised for is dissed of Ms. Kerry.
Well then, with respects to the political parties, the vice president who campaigned to bring "dignity back to the White House" told a senator to "F*#k off!" and was applauded because he spoke his mind.
Teresa Heinz Kerry told a reporter to "Shove it" and people think she's crazy or too outspoken.
As an aside, I would love to see a Bush-ism slip during the debates...
