This is ironic. The class is more likely to teach his staff how important the art of the coverup and sidestepping is than ethics.

Oh my lord. The President who got elected by promising to make up for his own lack of experience by surrounding himself with Washington veterans is now sending those old hands to an ethics class? You'd think that after 20+ years in government you'd know what gets the Senate Ethics Committee's attention and what doesnt.

Interestingly, the office of White House counsel Harriet Miers will be holding the ethics workshops. That sounds more like a refresher in what's legal than what's ethical, but what the heck. Sounds like they need lessons in both.

I'm telling you. It sounds more like a "you people need to shut up and stop getting us all in trouble. My approval rating is 35 percent and if you guys can't keep your mouth shut, I'll be impeached"

Well, it is mostly about the handling of classified information, isn't it? Shut the hell up seems to be a good general guideline. :)
