“we conclude that the intelligence community was dead wrong in almost all of its prewar judgments about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction. This was a major intelligence failure.”
1,500+ dead Americans later. Very nice, assholes.

Now, this is when critics of the Bush Administration (those who haven't mysteriously vanished) need to step up and keep this in the spotlight over the politically exploited death of a brain-dead woman.

Posted: 4/1/05 at 1:30amI'm so glad because Dean and Moore and many of us have been saying this for MONTHS. Just MAYBE the people of this country will clue in: WE WENT TO WAR IN IRAQ FOR OIL AND A PIPELINE!

Posted: 4/1/05 at 3:35amI think many of you need to go to school & take a few poly sci classes. Seriously, if you'd like to know why the intel of our country is "so bad" look no further than the admin of Bill Clinton. Because he cut so much funding from defense, there wasn't much the CIA, FBI, & various MIs could do. They lost MANY talented people....the private sector offered better paying jobs (think about the cut in funding). The new people who came in, were not only unqualified....they could not receive proper training (b/c of the cut in funds) thus creating many problems for many intel departments. Sorry if I sound a bit crazy....I'm working on a paper that is on this topic! I also intern for Homeland Security. It's nice when I can actually see my brain work beyond the classroom.

Posted: 4/1/05 at 7:31amIt's all Clinton's fault. Whatever happens, it's all Clinton's fault: 9/11, Iraq, Sweet Charity. If it happened on his watch, it's Clinton's fault. If it happened after, it's still Clinton's fault. If it happened before, find a way to blame it on Clinton. If it happens in the future, balme it on Hillary.

Posted: 4/1/05 at 8:43amdoes that mean you haven't heard about the fabulous Fallujah Stadium??? it's going to give jobs to the newly freed Iraqi's! and remember, kids, there are *no* insurgents, dead americans, dead civilians, and their country and ours are much better off because our... oh, invasion is such a dirty word. our... chairty work. yes, it's foreign aid. *that's* why we were so reluctent to help out those tsunami kids. i mean, we've already given billions to another non-american fund. so be sure to get your tickets now for the Iraqi soccer/football season. and remember on the opening: those are *fireworks*!
