Sadly, our financial priorities are not (yet) in order, and our public schools need help.

My beautiful, sweet and gifted God-Daughter is a student at PS-3 (at Hudson & Grove), and they are holding an auction to raise funds to support Arts programming in the school.

What with this being NYC and all, the parents have managed to collect some pretty great items--among the Broadway-specific options are:

Tickets and a backstage tour to 'Cinderella', 'Lion King' or 'Phantom";

Backstage tour (you have to buy your own tickets) to 'Hedwig';

Tix to too many shows to list here;

"VIP" tix (no waiting in line, etc.) to 'Colbert' 'the Daily Show', 'Rachel Ray' and SNL;

Plus all manner of items--from a Manuscript Critique by an award-winning author to a pair of Lemon-yellow patent leather Robert Clergerie flats to an African Photo Safari.
