Is this a good place to take classes if you are not a hardcore dancer? I took tap from 4-18, and then danced a little bit in college, and I just want to go and take some tap classes and keep up with stuff. It sounds like I should start with Adv. Beginner, but any info anyone might have about the classes there would be helpful.

I had a friend who use to teach there years ago and it's good for ALL levels of dance. Have fun!

It started with a sipmle idea, collecting one paper clip for every life lost, the feelings that connect us...are greater than those that divide us!

I took tap there for a couple years when I lived in NYC. Though there were a lot of better dancers in my class than me, I always had a good time, and no one ever made me feel uncomfortable during my "clutzy" moments. I found everyone there (teachers including) to be quite encouraging. I say, go for it!!!

Hey Dottie! Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany

I can barely dance, and I took some classes there and it was really fun, plus the teachers are very good! If you like tap, you should try taking w/ Germaine Salsberg...I've taken her class many times and she's an AWESOME teacher.
