Namo IS Wayne Brady in disguise. :)
Not sure about the breath, but I do think it's pretty gross when actors spit all over the stage, and all over the people in the first three rows. I understand that they're getting into the character and I love that they deliver their lines so passionately, but I wish they'd learn to control their saliva.

Posted: 1/13/04 at 8:35pmI've had saliva FLY out of my mouth on occasion. Just sort of in the middle of a SQUIRT sentence. I don't begrudge the actors. It's the only way we can hear them.

Posted: 1/13/04 at 11:40pmno..ive always wondered this... i am overly breath concious and HOPEFULLY always have minty breath myself..but, when actors have to sing right to eachothers faces...i sure hope they "scope" before hand.

I should hope that actors are aware of their breath for the sake of their fellow actors. I have never had the problem of being onstage with someone who has bad breath but i did have to work with a couple of actors who apparently didn't believe in deodorant.
Altoids and deodorant are your friends. They are an essential addition to any actors make up case.

Posted: 1/14/04 at 10:58amBut do I serve it with beef or chicken?

Posted: 1/14/04 at 11:14amCitrus Listerine should only be served with fish. What a Barbarian.

Posted: 1/14/04 at 2:02pmWell then if you are having beef you might want to try regular Listerine, for chicken I would suggest Tom's Of Maine natural mouthwash and if you serving lamb, it goes without saying, minty Scope

Posted: 1/15/04 at 3:39amI had to play Cressida opposite a Troilus with NO comprehension of just how badly he smelled. In rehearsal one day, I slipped and said "Hard to smell won" rather than "Hard to seem won."

Posted: 1/15/04 at 9:43amDouglass Sills in Little Shop of Horrors. He gives the front row a shower. O god it was so gross- but it was his character.

Posted: 1/15/04 at 12:18pmno I just think it's Douglas more then the charector but He's amazing on stage so you just have to get past load of spit flying at ya. The worst is when it drips down the sind of the gass mask that makes me sick to my stomic when that happens.
