Posted: 10/9/09 at 11:09amAwwww...I'm going to miss the free beer pavilion at Sea World San Antonio. It was a welcome oasis in the 100+ degree summer heat. But given the success of the Universal Studios, perhaps Blackstone's involvement won't be a detriment to the parks. I do remember when Blackstone bought Equity Office Properties, though. I saw way too many people lose their jobs.

Posted: 10/9/09 at 2:40pmBut there's still a team of Clydesdales at the brewery in St. Louis that they use for parades and other promotional appearances. The Clydsedale stable is one of the highlights of the brewery tour, with stained glass windows, brass chandeliers, and hand carved name plaques on the stalls.

Posted: 10/9/09 at 3:22pmThey're taking down some of the best rides at BG Europe here in VA. I;m sure they'll replace them, but it's sad to see The Big Bad Wolf go.

Posted: 10/9/09 at 3:27pmOh no! I always wanted to ride Big Bad Wolf. They had a similar coaster in Houston called XLR8, but BBW looked so much better. They still have one at King's Island, however.
