CATS audition

AHHH!

Drayton entertainment is doing CATS-a personal fav and the auditions are in 2 days but i dont have clue what to sing..iv never done anything this profeshional....im seriously shaking right now..for the fact i have the oppourtunity to be in this show...umm...any advice..songs..im a bari-tennor...im 17...lots of dance training,vocal and acting...what your experiences are..anything

Wow! I saw Cats on tour like two days ago! Its my favorite. Hmmm...How about I can do that from Chorus Line? That way you can dance too. Im crossing my fingers for you

Oh, don't we all? I can't stand Cats, but I'll sit through it for some Rum Tug Tugger. In fact, I suffered through it last weekend, just because the guy playing him was beeyoutiful.

HI, I am new to the the broadwayworld board, and I have a question. I might be going to a Cats audition and need a uptempo song. do anybody have suggestion of what i should sing. the songbooks i have are The Scarlet Pimpernel, Rent, Civil war,Wicked, Footloose, Little Women and Beauty and the beast.

I would suggest nixing RENT and WICKED just because they will be so overused. For Rum Tum Tugger I would suggest "I cant stand still" for Munkastrap I would say "I Confess" or possibly "Can you Find it in Your Heart (Reprise)" because he seems like more of an operatic role. Also from B&B you could do "If I Cant Love Her" for Munkastrap. Enjoy. I hope you get a role. You must come back with stories ok?
