Posted: 10/4/10 at 10:06pmYour thoughts if you viewed this debacle tonight I can't wait till this show tanks. And I'm a Dem and a lib. To all the unemployed and under-employed Americans out there: Be an asshole and get a job! It's the American way. Have integrity, smarts, education, ethics? Fuggedaboutit!.

He was never unemployed. He was just bored writing for Slate and working for his father's real estate firm.
With him on the TV I will now have to once again hear how people wished they could vote for him again as Governor. Dude did squat and if you hated Paterson (I sort of pitied the man) and loved Spitzer, Paterson's on Spitzer.
As for the show Kathleen Parker on the Sunday morning talk shows never struck me as a personality who 'ought to get her own show', politics aside, and neither has Spitzer.

Posted: 10/4/10 at 10:48pmThe public has a short memory. CNN trying to out-fox FOX is just too hilarious and outright pitiful. I used to love CNN when it was born. But then again, it seems, the public wants loud mouth arguing instead of thoughtful discourse. Quiet doesn't get ratings. Interesting, but questionable cover story re: CNN and the media wars in this wk's NY MAG.

I finally got a chance to watch the show tonight. I have to agree with everyone here: it's a mess.
Why the small table? And why is that small table cluttered with newspapers that no one refers to during the telecast?
Spitzer is obviously an intelligent man and fairly affable, but he comes off as more of a college professor than a television journalist.
I wonder how long it will take for the show to bite the dust?
