But Walton said he didn't think the "zero access" plans in New Orleans had anything to do with politics.
He's kidding, right?

Yea, Papa, if I want to see that **** I'll watch CSI.
Seriously, just because they have the right to show the gruesome and harrowing images of the dead doesn't mean they will show every little detail. I know the media gets a bad rap, and often deservedly so, but they usually refrain from showing too much graphic footage or at least give a warning that the images might be disturbing.

Posted: 9/11/05 at 12:25pmThey won't show that. During the four days CNN was there while FEMA was not, they didn't show that. Obviously, the government was trying to institute the unconstitutional policy so there would be no images available and they could go right back into their "everything's fine now, forget what you saw with your own eyes last week" mode.

Posted: 9/11/05 at 5:10pmpapa you should really use your smarts for good instead of evil. I am pretty sure you don't believe CNN sued so they could show close-ups of the maggots on the decomposing bodies.
re: cnn sues us government, wins#8
Posted: 9/11/05 at 6:05pmNo, they sued so they could cont coverage for higher ratings/ad revenue. CNN is not my idea a fighter for the public's right to know.
