Hi guys! My name's Joe, I'm a recent graduate from the Musical Theatre program at Montclair State University. I wanted to share a some clips from my recent performance of my one-man-show "That's Not Right... A Mistaken Cabaret" at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. The show was a tribute to all of my favorite leading ladies, and just a general good time, so I'd love to hear what you thought of some of the performances =) There's a link below to my Patti LuPone medley, which was one of my favorites of the night.
Feel free to check out my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/JoeDangio) or my personal website (http://www.joedangio.com). All constructive criticisms are welcome =)
Happy holidays!

OK, I'll bite.
I'll go out on a limb here at BWW, and say that I think this guy is potentially fabulous.
Even with less than optimal video and audio, I thought your act was performed extremely well, professionally.
You have a lot of natural talent and charisma, imho, and I've seen over 2,000 shows in my lifetime.
Would love to see you perform in your "own personality", your own personal show, not the usual drag queen stuff.
I was expecting to see yet another crap video of some talentless dweeb, but hey, THANKS for surprising me!
Touche!
Well done..I say GO FOR THE CAREER.
I will have to side with Tiny on this. I took a chance thinking that I would just roll my eyes and move on but surprisingly I stayed till the end and enjoyed it. Nice job and break a leg!
Thanks guys! I'm glad you appreciated the video. This was definitely one of the more exaggerated performances of the night; I'll be posting more videos as they're ready.
As well as the musical theatre route, I've been pursuing the comedy/cabaret route, and because the scene is so small, sometimes it's hard to get the word around about performances. I hope if you liked the video, you'll subscribe, or take a look around my website.
Tiny- thanks! Some great criticism. I definitely see what you're saying about being more authentic, and I think in the next show I'll make it a goal to bring more of that to the performance. For this one I was just trying to break out of my comfort zone a little, and now that I've done that I can start layering more on top of that.
Best Wishes,
Joe
