#0Can I get advice??
Posted: 6/22/06 at 7:29pmOkay, so I'm only 14 but we are singing Seasons of Love for a camp thingy I'm doing. I have the solo at the end with the really high note and my voice is terribly dry lately, we perform tommorow any advice on how to keep my voice well? I have been drinking lots of water but that just makes me have to pee all the time...so it's kinda annoying...

Make sure you get lots of rest the night before you have to perform. Even though you have to go to the bathroom a lot from drinking the water, it will be better for you b/c you'll be hidrated and that's definitely better when you have to sing. Also make sure you get a good warm-up since you have to sing the high note. Good Luck!

Lol, yeah you defnitely don't want to be tired when you'll have to sing.
I was in choir in high school and some of us sang "Seasons of Love" (without the high part) at our graduation ceremony. It's such a good song!
This is kind of weird, but my choir director in high school always used to tell us it's a good thing when our pee is clear. That means we're getting hidrated or are hidrated. She had a certain saying but I can't remember how she put it. lol

Posted: 6/22/06 at 7:57pmEver since I heard it I've wanted to sing it, it's such a fun but powerful song! sadly we don't sound very good because we have about 15 fifth graders who don't know where to come in or anything but then there are the 3 of us older...heh the big bad ninth graders....who sound stupid when we are the only ones coming in on the right parts...But none the less it is SUCH A FUN SONG!
