And it has a killer ending. Airport personnel still tell the tale. Newbies think it's some sort of urban myth, but we know the truth.
Hello, all! It's cooling down here today - 98 instead of 100. Time to break out the sweaters.

As I'm sure you noticed, I couldn't find McCormicks, so I threw a few other ones in there.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Oy! People should really warn you before they post pictures of 12 inch scars. I'm feeling a little woozy now. I'll go lie down.

I used to love the Seaquarium but I don't have any connections there.

That pic reminded me to get some more water out to the birds on my patio. I put birdseed out there but in this heat, they need water more. Anyway - I found an old cookie sheet - one with sides - and I set it out there and filled it with water. The birds are out there laying on their backs, with wings spread, looking like they just arrived at an avian Club Med.

Aw, birdies! How cute. Ugh, I have class, for which I'll be late. Woke up with a sore throat, like I need that.

I want an air conditioner again.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I want to agree with Deet. *collapses*
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Shames, I have it. Which is why I'm late to class, as I'm a bit loath to leave it!
