I HATE Wednesday mornings and turning the computer on. They have these friggin software updates every week that we have no control over and it slows everything down and takes forever. And they never tell us what the frig they're updating.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Nasty really brief storms brought down a lot of trees around here so everyone is recovering, but on the bright side it isn't supposed to go above mid 80's today!

'Morning, all!

The back of our house and a nearby tree were hit by lightening during a storm last night. The blast shook the whole house, then we noticed flaming leaves falling on the (wood!) deck. The hit tripped two circuit breakers and when we flipped them back one shot out sparks. I don't know much about electrical wiring, but I'm betting that wasn't a good thing. One wall in the family room has no power in any of the outlets - the very outlets that the TV, cable, computer, etc are plugged into. So now I have to contact an electrician to come out and repair whatever. Could have been A LOT worse, though, so for that I'm very thankful.

Wow Moony! Glad everything's okay, considering what it could've been.

Barely a storm down by me. Rain for about 15-20 minutes, and that's it.

Holy smoke, cuz! Glad that you are safe and sound. How do look in that "perm"? We have a lot of downed limbs and trees. My power went off for about five minutes. My neighbors, who are on a different power grid, five hours.

Moony, if most of your electronics and outlets are still working that's a good sign. The same thing happened to one of our mechanics last year and it zapped everything.

Good morning all.
PLEASE - one of those iced teas! They look perfect.

Moony - that's too close for comfort. I'm so glad you're all right. We got the storm but I slept through most of it.

It's going to be a bodaciously busy day at work today but it'll be a MAHVELOUS evening! I'm celebrating Miss P's birthday with her and her family by going to the ballet at the Kennedy Center and having dinner with Glebby. It just don't get any better than that!

Nice, thanks for the iced coffee, D2. :) For some reason, my body insisted on waking me up at 8:30 for no reason. So, I guess I'm up. At least I'll get out and get errands done today, when it's not so god awfully hot out.

Glad to hear everyone's safe!

I just walked across town during my lunch break to my school, where I was supposed to meet my history teacher to review my summer reports. He didn't show. I wasted my lunch break. Ugh.

yeah - went dress shopping for "it" after work and then had to run out and meet local partner in crime for dinner and drinks. Which lead to more drinks...you know the drill.

Mani/pedi after work and have to pick up Chris's tux. The fun never ends.

I must have slept through any storms last night. Good thing, too, 'cause I didn't get any sleep the night before. We are still w/o AC.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
