Not a solution, Shira, because ultimately you don't have to deal with me - you have to deal with yourself and if you have to have a drink to do that then you're in a helluva lot more trouble than anyone but a qualified therapist is equipped to deal with.
And before you get all pouty and defensive and come back with a half-assed witticism or assurance that you were just joking, think about that. And about "what you type."

Morning.
Quietly in a corner? Slipping out quickly?
Screw that, I'm getting my pom-poms!

I'm just staying out of the line of Deet's ire.
BD, I heard a McD's commercial on the radio advertising the tinted Coke glasses. I don't know what color is when. Did you get all of them in Singapore?

Posted: 12/3/09 at 9:31amI think I missed the 1st Coke glass they came out with which was green. I can't believe the U.S. is finally getting them. I wonder if ours will be bigger? I'll have to check it out...I have not been to a McDonald's since I've been back. You know I am trying to keep my girlish figure. *goes back to my comfortable corner*

Mornin', my Peeps!
Geez, I almost feel bad for Shira today. Almost. Not that Deet isn't correct, as usual.

Deet is VERY wise. More people should listen to him.
Just popping in and out - we're very short-handed today so I'm covering for 3 people and getting none of my own work done. I foresee a long day ahead......

I'm also grateful for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful program next March:
Grapes of Wrath Concert, with Clark, Ebersole, Gunn, to Play Carnegie Hall in 2010
Tony Award-winning The Light in the Piazza star Victoria Clark will play Ma Joad in a concert version of Ricky Ian Gordon and Michael Korie's The Grapes of Wrath in March 2010 at Carnegie Hall.
The March 22, 2010, concert is part of The Collegiate Chorale season.
The evening, according to the Chorale's website, will be narrated by Academy Award winner Jane Fonda and will also boast the talents of Nathan Gunn as Tom Joad, Elizabeth Futral as Rosasharn, Anthony Dean Griffey as Jim Casy, Peter Halverson as Pa Joad, Stephen Powell as Uncle John, Andrew Wilkowske as Noah, Steven Pasquale as Al, Christine Ebersole as Mae/Waitress, Matthew Worth as Ragged Man/Connie Rivers/Truck Driver and Madeline Gunn as Ruthie.
Ted Sperling will conduct The American Symphony Orchestra.
The Grapes of Wrath, based on the novel by John Steinbeck, features music by Ricky Ian Gordon and a libretto by Michael Korie. The opera made its debut in February 2007 at the Minnesota Opera Company.

Addy, WOW what a great opportunity!
I am also thankful to have a job, we are not in perfect shape, but I am busy which is VERY important.
