Oral surgery at 2:00pm today so I'm carb loading this morning in anticipation of nothong but vicodin for dinner tonight. Drugged, happy and thin. Yes, I can live with that.

Obviously I don't feel anything, but I always know when he's cutting, and it's all I can do to keep from having an anxiety attack.

I definitely need a support group.

I'm so grateful I found the dentist/oral surgeon that I did. While none of this work is a picnic in the park, they are both so gentle and soothing during any procedure it almost makes it bearable.

And they write scrips for vicodin.

Moony, I go to "Friendly dental" and believe me they are. It is the sweetest dentist office I have ever been to. The receptionist Lisa is a hoot! A real Brooklyn girl. I will talk to Dr. Pete about that support group, I'm sure he will be fine with it.

I need to find another dentist to go too. This last one was a joke. How many visits I made this year to start taking "the next step" of my mouth transformation for the doctor to go "oops looks like we missed something else". I just have to wait until 2010 so insurance will cover a new set of full x-rays that the new place is going to want.

Granted I have made it 26 years with this messed up smile and it hasnt seemed to hurt me that much in social interactions and/or dating (though I can't see how), but i cannot wait until the day when someone goes to take a picture and I don't have to do mean scary serious face so that i dont have to smile lol.

Tinky if you don't want to travel all the way down to me I do another great dentist in Livingston...he used to practice in Nutley, but moved. He's easy on the eyes too
