Q, did you see the little note I left you on the previous page?

I did, Girly - thank you! That's one of our favorite theaters (it's where we saw Bernadette's concert) - I'll definitely be checking into tickets!
About 1/3 through with the baking. Is it odd that I found it easier to bake with a electric oven rather than the gas one I have now? I have lost about 1/4 of the fist few batches after they appeared done, but upon cooling, clearly were not! Ugggh.
Q, it is now pouring over here. But, give me a few hours and I think I will be pouring some myself!
Happy Saturday Adults.
And Shira, I hope things are going well with your dad.

YWIW - it's been raining here all morning.
Girly - got the tix - 8th row
There's no rain here, it's a nice 60 degrees. I loves it.
What are the adults up to this Saturday afternoon?

I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of being alone in the house! And then I'll be headed out for dinner with friends before they see the TinMan's production.
What are YOU up to Soapy?
School is out!!! I'm enjoying a wonderful Saturday of doing nothing. I'm going to see Dido and Aeneas (The Opera) later, so I'm pretty excited about that. There's only about 3/4 Operas a year in my neck of the woods.
Ooh! What show is Tinman doing/directing if you don't mind my asking.

He's playing Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL
I've never seen that opera - hope you enjoy!
Oooh! That sounds like it's going to be fun. Have fun.
I guess I should start saving, primping and the like. I hope the adults all have a wonderful afternoon.
Hi, Soapy!! Long time no see.
Q!!!!! That is fantabulous! I'm soooooooo excited for you!!

I had to laugh - I know the TinMan isn't crazy about Feinstein (respects the work he does, just doesn't want to listen to him) - but I barely got Cheyenne's name out and he yelled, "I'll go!"
Now to work on how to meet him
I'm not too crazy for Feinstein, either. The cost of their show in NY was a bit much for my pocketbook, and I'm not too crazy about Feinstein's, the venue. I'm glad Chey did a couple solo shows before teaming up with him, so at least I got to that one.
As for meeting him...where there's a will, there's a way!! I've got faith in you!

I think I'll print out D2's picture and get it signed
And then ask to be tickled . . .
Don't you dare!
Do it

Hmmmmm, a dare . . .
Not to worry, dearest ~ the only reason I have the picture is because it's a great one of YOU!
However, I can't guarantee I won't ask him to tickle me.
Or something.
*wants to be tickled*
Ahhh, I wanna go see Cheyenne. *swoons with the rest*
My Dad's complaining I work too much. Heh. My shoes don't buy themselves! I work at 3 temples, tutor 2-3 times a week, and will start teaching preschool 2-3 days a week come January. I just need to be more organized, that's all!
Preaching to the choir, Ms. Shira. Preaching to the choir. I still have time to do homework and to shop. Ergo, there's no way I could be working to much. What else is there?
Exactly. As long as it doesn't cut into wine time!
Or in your case, Shira, whine time.
Is that wine time or whine time?

Nothing better than a fine whine.
