I just won an 8GB iPod Touch.
I was happy with my old, decrepit 40 GB iPod, but perhaps I will enjoy the new one more...
Anyone know what the iPod Touch offers over a traditional iPod? I am trying to determine whether to keep or gift it.
And that thar cane!

the ipod touch is essentially the iPhone without the phone service and youwould have to pay for internet access i think. But all the app features and all that

Hmmmm - tending towards gifting it, since I really only use my ipod for the music. But who knows. (I already have a blackberry for work, and a Palm for personal stuff).
And, belated congrats to the Yankee fans.

When people ask what this thread is about, this is the type of page I'd like to show them.
Can you imagine stumbling in here and just reading this page?
Sounds like a movie Moony...Bovine Boy and The Henderson's
The iPod Touch is pretty cool.
In other news, I need a LOT of alcohol. My Mom's in Philly (leaving me running the business), and my Dad is in the ICU from a bike accident and I'm running around and crazed. He has a bleed in his head, and while he's conscious and all that and coherent, it's kind of scary at the same time.
*hugs* to all.
Harris, you are totally going to win.
I got word that the Hendersons are presenting Nativity Ducks this year.
Shira, sending good thoughts!
Being in the ICU is the right place for them to look after his medical needs.
*hug*
Shira....I'm sure all will be well...take deep breathes. *hugs*
Speaking of ducks Addy...I have a stuffed duck puppet on my desk today that I bought in Singapore. When you move his beaks he quacks "Old McDonald"...my staff is laughing because when it comes to "e i e i o" I make is beak go real fast...just too damn funny!!! I think we're all over tired from staying up to watch the game last night and we're just giddy.

Ugh. My late night with the Yankees have just caught up with me. While the past week has been exciting, I'm glad it's over - I need more than 4-5 hours of sleep each night. I'm old, you know.
giddy is good, Boobs!
So, we just got a memo from the building about tomorrow. We are directly on the parade route, and diagonally across from City Hall park. Needless to say, security is going to be tight. They are closing all streets at 8am, and the building is going to have only one entrance open.
I can't WAIT!
I remember those Ticker Tape parades when I worked downtown Manhattan...it was insane...I love it!!!

Don't laugh - I went online this morning and checked on Amtrak for tomorrow! There wasn't a train I could take in to get to the parade route by 11:00am. - or under $250.00.
