Can anyone remind me why I write musicals?
Because you love it.
Sweet DQ, where you hiding out during the day? I miss you!

Oh, yeah. Thanks, DD.
Okay, I'm watching GLEE for the first time. I don't get it.

We just watched Disney's HUNCHBACK again, and I ended up sobbing - again. I love - LOVE! - this movie, especially the score. I know they deviated from the novel, but they told the story they wanted to tell - and I'm so glad they did. The moment when he rescues Esmerelda and ends up holding her aloft in front of the Rose Window is one of the most thrilling moments in any movie for me.
And now we're settling in to get ready to watch the CMA awards. I know it's not fasionable, but we love country music. And I can think of a lot worse things to do than look at handsome hunks in tight jeans, boots and cowboy hats
And D2, we tried GLEE and stopped - rather quickly, actually.
Q, yeah.
TOP CHEF, on the other hand, I get. Funny - the show that should be right up my alley leaves me cold, and the one that deals with my least favorite activity gets me jazzed!
OMG! Am I a closet cook?

Isn't it past your bedtime, Girly? I'd ask you in that other thread but it seems to be gone. Which one was it, Q? You know, the one where you were going to tell me something?
Oh, crap. I was wondering if you had seen that.
It's gone?
*goes to look*
ETA: It's still there.

Yes, dear, I saw it.
But I couldn't remember which thread it was.
*adjusts halo*
Okay, I'm going. Nighty night!

Glee's target is my kids and their nerdy parents. We love it and all 5 of us watched it tonight, even the somewhat bitchey C16. Mrs. Brd and I hoot every time a bad 80's anthem is used for showchoir! Funny stuff.
I figure I'll watch it online eventually!

The CMAs were horrendous. Awful. Insulting. Sobering.
The last is the most damning, of course.
Mornin'
Mornin'!
I love country music too, but I haven't watched an awards show since Garth retired.
Oh, and I like GLEE. Not love, but like.
I love country music, but I don't bother with award shows.
Ahh, no GLEE talk, I haven't watched it yet!!
I usually don't care for Country music, and never watch the awards, but nothing else was on before and after Glee, so I watched. I actually enjoyed them. Why were they so insulting, horrendous, etc.?
Morning kiddles!

Good morning peeps! I watch Glee and then Nip/Tuck -- both fabulously disturbing in their own ways. Top Chef gets watched as a repeat. I need to get out more on Weds. nights.
This is the first week I have missed Glee (well it is Tivo'd so I will just watch it tonight). I did feel a little seperation anxiety, I will admit.
morning.
Pinky, I need to e-mail you. The crew got to meet a certain someone last night and of course, hilarity ensued...... lol
I'm on the first season of Nip/Tuck. Mainly for Julian McMahon, but I like the show too.
Happy Thursday peeps!!! I just found out that I can carry vacation days over to next year...well until March...extended stay in Thailand perhaps? bwhahahahahahahaha
