I am, Shamey! We'll be in Ft. Walton Beach Thursday through Sunday. I know, wrong coast.
Yeah, you couldn't be any farther away if you were in Georgia! LOL! How are the beaches up there doing?
Edit: In fact, Georgia is closer to me. Have fun! Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours!

As of yesterday they had no tarballs, but there's a funky odor. We had planned to go kayaking so I guess I'll get a first hand experience with the oil, if it gets there.
Ian Somerhandler (Damon on Vampire Diaries/Boone from Lost) has been down in LA alot and posting stories and pictures while he tries to assist in the relief effort. Very sad! His latest post (twitter) was that the fish are starting to think the oil is food and trying to eat it.
Am I the only one disturbed by that screencap of Katie Holmes and Daniel Radcliffe standing next to each other at the Tonys that keeps flying by over there on the right?
The lack of charisma and awkward dimensions gives me douchechills.
Only 3 more days....YAY for Shames!!! I am seeing Liza in 3 days...not as exciting unless she sings Happy Birthday to me
AP, I don't see that photo. But, they weren't a very attractive pair visually at the Tony's.
Yay for the countdowns! 3 days for The Girl. 3 days for Moony's trip. 3 days until Aunt Addy attends a very special graduation!
If I can just. get. through. these. days. at. work.!!
I don't really have anything in particular to look forward to this weekend and already this week seems to be dragging. I need a new challenge.
Does anyone have any recommendations in the Williamsburg, VA area? I'm there with the family in a month, and trying to distract myself from the tedium with planning for that.
Williamsburg used to be our "childhood" vacation spot. But only things I remember are Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg if you are a history buff.
Karma's a bitch.
Last sip of iced coffee this morning and the cup slips out of my hand, all over white linen shirt and tan linen trousers. Had to go home and change.
*grumblegrumblegrumblegrumble*
I'm more interested in knowing what you did to earn the bad karma. I mean what you did recently.

Good thing that didn't happen yesterday. Hope the stains come out of the white linen!
It always happens to me on the last sip, last bite, etc.
Generally only when dealing with things like coffee, mustard, tomato sauce...
I always secretly wonder if I somehow psychologically let my guard down too soon.
Hope the day gets better.
This is why I try to carry my Tide stick wherever I go.
Is that what you're calling it these days?
AP
hey, girly, can you smack some of your work peeps around? They are causing me great frustration today! :)
Afternoon greetings.

If you hear about someone getting arrested at the Hollywood Bowl this evening, it will probably just be me trying to get onstage and have Sting show me how to do the Downward Dog - because I'm SO interested in Yoga . . .
How's the bail fund look these days?
I'd take a crack at that.
Ah, the joys of posting on BWW
Shira's in New York, Q - and I understand she's left most of the bail fund in L.A., at her father's house, so...
Shamey, I haven't done anything lately, I'm just ascribing the bad karma as payback from the LaGuardia Incident of June, 2001. Sometimes it takes awhile, I guess.
Q...you can teach him the Dog & Cat posture...
This is really two poses, one flowing into the other. Begin on your hands and knees. Keep your hands just in front of your shoulders, your legs about hip width apart. As you inhale, tilt the tailbone and pelvis up, and let the spine curve downward, dropping the stomach low, and lift your head up. Stretch gently. As you exhale, move into cat by reversing the spinal bend, tilting the pelvis down, drawing the spine up and pulling the chest and stomach in. Repeat several times, flowing smoothly from dog into cat, and cat back into dog.
