Hello.
We're seeing this tonight:
It's been a sold-out hit here for months - by the same team that did THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES.
I'll think of everyone while we watch the cute boys sing all the big hits of the 60's
*MWAH*
Sounds like a fun time, Q! I wish I was there to enjoy it with you. The 60's were a great time!
The 80's on the other hand.... not so great.

Oh, I don't know about that - I seem to recall having a pretty good time, myself
On Sunday, we're seeing a pretty decent regional production of Elton's AIDA. They're using all the original designs, so we'll be happy to see those again. We really did enjoy that aspect of the production a lot.
oooh... light pyramid.
**crawls into liquor cabinet for a nap**
OUCH! Tink, watch it! You're jabbing me in the side!
The AIDA tour sucked. Big time.

oops, damn, i gotta stop leaving the cabinet unlocked! :)
I saw an AIDA tour a few years ago and yeah, not very good. I still enjoyed it, but as a whole, not well done. Guy playing Radames was hot though.
Greetings, Ladies and Gents!
Sounds like a fun event, Q! Gotta love the '60s!
Actually, each decade holds a special memory...
Boobs, love the AVs!
We're drinking? Count me in!
...speaking of memories:
I just got 2 tickets for the James Taylor - Carole King concert at the Garden on June 30th.
Can I tell you how giddy with happiness I am?!
You gave us all keys, Tink. Don't you remember?
ADDY!!
I love Carole King.
DEET!!
I do, too, Deet. Her 'Tapestry' album is iconic in my life.
And James Taylor is held in the same high esteem...
Hey Addy! I am paying tribute to men and women who made us smile, sing, laugh and even sometimes cry in the 60's
I saw carole King at Radio City some years back and had the time of my life! Addy, I am sure this is going to be an amazing concert with the 2 of them. James Taylor another favorite of mine.

I love it, Boobs!
I saw that same concert, Boobs! It was a couple of years ago - her 'Living Room Tour'. I just loved it. And still have my green 'friends' bracelet!
I think the two of them together will be really special.

Does that mean 2 cows in Everyday Rapture shirts? Because I would like to ride a cow in a T-shirt. Just once.

Boobs - it would be lovely to see Bill Bixby in your 60's tribute lineup . . .
Q - if "Life Could Be A Dream" is good, let me know. It always pops up in my theatre listings.
Addy - that sounds like an incredible concert.
I have a few Veuve bottles to open in the next two weeks. One, for my birthday, and the other, because my lease begins July 1st in Los Angeles, out of my Dad's house and into my own place.

Off to the Brooklyn Museum for the Members Preview of the new Andy Warhol exhibit.
I'm so tempted to meet you there, wexy!
Isn't it bad that not having anything going on I have no idea what to do with myself in the evenings? The weather is still too crappy for biking or after work hikes.
Deet - jS had day 1 of his mouth saga start yesterday: 1 root canal, 1 deep filling, 1 extraction, and 1 jaw implant. 4 hours! Poor man was miserable last night.
Holy mackerel, that's intense, for jS. Give him my best. And maybe some Vicodin?
I feel for jS, DD. Been there. But that's a lot for one visit.
Well my afternoon has been one of those that makes me want to go out and get a t-shirt made that says "Stupidity reigns supreme, and if you don't watch it you're all going to get wet." And the visual will be...
...wait for it...
You guessed it:
