Morning peeps!
Hey Tommy, long time no see....how are things?
Haha! I guess it's possible. I'm sure I'll be able to catch the highlights on the news tonight.
Hasselback makes me want to punch the TV screen. The worst part is that I had a little crush on her when she was on Survivor.
Funny Shames...I have that same feeling when Hasselhoff is on.
LOL! Ok, I'm hoping your crush was on the Hoff of Knight Rider days and not Baywatch.
I fell asleep at 8pm last night. I feel like a walking zombie.
hey kids.
Hello, Sunshine!
It makes absolutely no sense that having too much sleep and not enough sleep makes us feel equally bad. Keep guzzling the caffeine.
caffeine does nothing for me, we know that. and I don't do sugar. No hope for me. Just gotta keep plugging away. Could be worse, lol.
Morning Adults. No caffeine - ugh. I quit coffee but still have iced tea.
Yes it was babe....Baywatch Hoff I wanted to slap...ick!! LOL
But, I did get a a kick out of watching him try to suck in his gut in every episode for all of those years.
5-hour energy, Tink? They taste icky, but they do work.
So my little guy wants a Mustang...I found one in my price range and now he is giving me a hard time because he wants an 8 cyl. and not a 6 cyl...wtf? I was always happy to have a car that got me from point A to point B. Who cared what engine it had in it? Well he either comes and looks at this car which sounds too good to be true or I'm done!
You tell him, BB!
Or he can take the bus until he can afford the 8 cyl.
WWhat happened with the one they were looking at on the weekend?

Boobsie, let him know that while you may buy the car, he has to buy the gas and a V6 is going to be much easier on his wallet than a V8.
I understand where he is coming from to a point. A V6 mustang is looked at as wimpy and cheap in the world of car geeks (well teenage car geeks). There is a general thoguht that if you are going to do it, do it right and get the 8.
but he is young and he is not paying for it so he should just deal with it.
I need some NYC advice - we are having a work event tomorrow at our NYC office (26th & Broadway). I need to find a nice lounge/bar for an after event. Somewhere not too far, cool atmosphere that I can look at a party for 30 or so peeps. Decent food, etc. Nothing too swanky or expensive. I looked into 230-fifth but it was a little bit too much. Any suggestions?
Girly, by the time he got to the dealership over the weekend someone already put a deposit on it...you know they did before my son even called up, they just wanted him on the lot to try and sell him another car.
JG2 & Poddie...I agree, but he is stubborn like his mother and doesn't want to hear it.
Tinky, I know what you're saying, but if Daddy is buying you the car you'll need to deal with the engine. How do they know anyway what size engine it has? Do they lift the hood? I wouldn't know a V6 from an 8 if it bit me on the a$$....nor would I care!
I think my son is going to learn a very valubale lesson if he doesn't look at this car. He'll be driving his 1978 Nova with no air condioning until he can afford to buy his own damn car! Jeez...do they even think about the cost of insurance?
They don't think about the cost of anything.
Well it's time for Tough Love!!!! I warned his mother too!!!
Oooh...tough boy!! LOL! I'll believe it, when I see it.

Believe me I am fuming over this. I call him and tell him to just llok at the car...he tells me okay and then calls his mother and tells her that he is not looking at a Mustang with a V6 engine. I just got off the phone with his older brother and told him he better talk some sense in to this kid or he won't get a car until he can afford one on his own. I am sticking to my guns this time and if his mother gives in she'll be sorry too.
Deep breaths, BD!!

Good for you, Boobs.
I just got my teeth whitened. They look FABULOUS, but no coffee, tea, coke, chocolate...basically any food or liquid with any color whatsoever for the next 48 hours.
Apparently it's normal for teeth to be sensitive for a couple of days after a bleaching. JESUSCHRISTALMIGHTY it hurts! Like drilling w/o novocaine. Every few minutes.
And if that isn't enough, my bank card was declined. Someone's been trying to make unauthorized purchases on it. So now I have to get a new card, change all my accounts around. SHIRA! IF I FIND OUT IT'S YOU, SO HELP ME GOD...
So Deet did they say you couldn't throw coffee? I mean I could see that being more painful to you then actually not being able to drink it.
