Just as soon as I finish up with the Kentucky Derby party.

Oh, I won't be needing breakfast this morning, thanks. Hic.
Morning!
I was going to get my next tattoo on Cinco De Mayo (That's when I got my Tink last year - figured maybe make it a tradition) but the money went to buying a lap top yesterday instead. It's all good. I am now all up to date on my GLEE music (well except for this week's episode).
Moony, I'll have a double please!!!
*hugs BB*
Oooh, Margaritas! That looks good!
Moony, I'm excited for the Derby tomorrow. Someday, me and the girl want to go. Not to wear the hats so much, but to see the race live.

My money is on Sidney's Candy. The favorite, Lookin at Lucky (3-1) got the worst post place in the draw, so I'm going with #2.
Shamey, you can wear this to both the Kentucky Derby AND Ascot!

Shamey - I've never been, but friends who have gone say it's a lot of fun. The Preakness, held here in MD, is awful - a smelly, ugly, drunken brawl.
I never got into horse racing. I just have bad memories of the Kentucky Derby from the year Anna wanted to go and we had to arrange and set it all up. I believe that was the year she got in an almost fist fight with Kid Rock at that really fancy party they have the night before (i forget the name). Yeah, I miss the fun phone calls I used to get in the middle of the night.
I'm betting on Awesome Act, Make Music For Me and Line of David. I will, of course, not win a damn thing, but it's fun anyway. The girl's sister is a master at picking winning horses and she went with Awesome Act and Looking at Lucky.
Deet, that goes with jeans, right? :-P

Make Music for Me has a female trainer, which I like, but he's a 50-1.
Yes, but with a white lace halter top. :P
The Derby is fine unless you are in that infield area where it's worse than a Nascar race. Drunken, naked debauchery going on. One year, a woman had her clothes ripped off. It's nuts. You don't hear about that side of it!
Last day of work!
What's wrong with that? :-P
Edit: Oops! I read that as a woman ripped her clothes off!
I know, Moony, that's my long shot.
WOW the Kentucky Derby sounds like a night in Bangkok.
Not to change the subject but I think I figured something out!
Next week. Decorations. Party. Cinqo de Mayo. ...
Harris is the celebrity who is coming out. He'll admit he is a Mexican Homosexual who eats Beef!
Okay, back to the horse racing.
I forgot, this morning as I was watching the news, I watch NBC every morning...love Chris Cimino, but that's another story..lol. Anyway, every day they do the top list..usually the top songs or albums on iTunes....well today they did the 4 most money making B'way shows..."according to BroadwayWorld.com" of course "Wicked" is still number one!
Wait, Tink worked for Anna Nicole Smith?
Not a huge fan of horse racing, but the Kentucky Derby is more of an event than a horse race.
Morning Adults.
Deet, I kinda said that in my post. About the reason for the decorations, that is. I don't know anything about any statements Harris is or isn't planning.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Yup, she did!
I love horse racing, which I know is really weird considering my horse eye phobia, but whatever.
The girl and the Brits, in general, love it too, but their races are steeplechase. There are too many falls for me. It turns my stomach to see the horses go down. But, the horses really do seem to love it. They keep running and jumping even if the jockey falls off!
I always think of My Fair Lady when I see the hats at the Kentucky Derby. I can't help it. I am sure that is a common reaction.
And, wow Tink, I would love to hear the stories and the truth about that poor woman. (Wonders if there is a tell-all book in Tink's future).
Yeah, so? All you said was "Cinqo de Mayo" party, Girly. That's not saying much. I gave the party a reason.
The Swedes are very into the harness racing. We were driving from Stockholm to home my first day there and we stopped at a pizza place where they were watching harness racing. I thought I had weirdly warped back to Jersey. I had never even heard of it before moving to NJ. It's what the ass boss does for a living.
