Random rant

We are currently in the survey phase with a possible big upcoming client. It's a healthcare system in NY. I have been going through the surveys all day and well, why in the hell do have to have such hard and confusing names for all these departments??? Don't they know after about 10 surveys my eyes can no longer read more than 5 letter words? I think doctors just want themselves to SEEM smarter with all this crap.

So I went to my first book club meeting last night. It was at a local town's library. The book, well, it wasn't great, but it was the author's first, so I gave him props for that. Well this one turned out not to be the typical book club, but the author (a local man) giving us an hour talk and the questions from all the seniors (yes, me and friend's ages combined didn't equal the collective age in the room).

Well, the author was annoying me by not REALLY answering anyone's questions, so I decided to ask mine and he did it to me. That wasn't going to fly so I kept going "yes, I see that, and you make good points, but that was not my question...." hehehehe, I got him so flustered and pissed off! :)

Just got back from a Costco shopping adventure with my mom. She got me a Vitamix super cool blender/mixer/turkey baster.

Now I just have to use it! You can use it for smoothies, soups, ice cream - the thing is freaking amazing.

It is amazing how well my mom and I get along when she is spending money on me

I am doing dinner with friends tonight.
