Wife-shamey
Did u see glee this week?
DD, you don't pay much attention to emails at all, do you? Me, Boobs and Girly use AOL. I still prefer it to any other ISP I've tried. Well, until this week.
Not yet, Harris. I need to catch up.
Shamey - gmail does not display your email addy unless I tell it to show all details; usually I only see your name. Or maybe I only pay attention to the sender and not whatever follows the "@".
I use gmail and mine shows up as whatever i have you in my address book.
I must say with the framily, gmail is a blessing. It keeps all the e-mail chains in a convo format, which is sooooo helpful lol.
Afternoon, my dear peeps. How is Friday coming along?
Slowly. After initial hopes of being able to get out of here early, it looks like I'll end up being here until 6:00, at least.
And what are you doing awake at 4:30 in the morning, Hep?
Yep, it's 4:30, it's raining and I can't sleep. Apart from that, everything's fine...just fine...really. Deet, do you need any help?
No thanks, Hep - nothing I can't handle, it's just one of those "waiting for information to get something done without having to come in over the weekend" type of deals.
Sorry you can't sleep - I hate when that happens, although I usually try to use those occasions get some writing done.
I'm too fuzzy to write anything good. So, I'm here having fun trying to work out how Stritch got into the ALNM rumor. I was hanging around ATC the day that rumor began. It is fun to see how it has grown.

Hubby just called:
At the end of the year luncheon at his school today it was announced that a (wealthy) family has endowed the school with a fund in his name - $500,000 to the school and $5,000 to him each year - even after he retires. He's calling it his "research fund". I'm calling it "weekends in New York City".
I'm too familiar with not being able to sleep at 4 am. Fortunately I now have a video game that keeps me company when jS is sound asleep ... many nights I've been heading to bed as he gets up.
Deet - that's the story of my Fridays. It seems every Friday at 3:00 I get a rush job.
Moony, that's wonderful!
Hep, I didn't say the writing was good.
I was skeptical about those rumors until I read the Playbill article - there has to be some grain of truth to it if they published what they published. In any event, I hope they're true. Bernadette would make an astonishing Desiree, and Stritch, well, at the very least she'd be a hoot and a half.
Moony, there's a little bit of Shira in you too, isn't there?

It is - and he deserves it. He's a fabulous teacher. I should know - he was my history teacher in college.
Congrats for Mr. Bluemoon!

Thanks, DD.
If that casting rumor became a reality, even I would give ALNM is second chance!
Unrelated - watching Every Little Step on Monday noticed Amy Spanger's card as they were going through whom to call back. She was not. I'll have to watch again to see if I figure out who she is ... (I'm terrible at recognizing people.)
Moony ran off with the professor!
Another thing that leads me to believe that the casting rumor may have some truth to it is a certain someone we all know is being awfully, awfully quiet today. At least as far as those rumors are concerned.
And all kidding aside, Moony, that is fabulous news for Professor Moony. Congrats!

I didn't think that Stritch was posting here anymore.
And now the story's been picked up by Grace Notes, an industry e-newsletter.
She's not, Moony. She hasn't been much fun since she stopped drinking anyway.
Moony, she's too busy trying to learn 'Liasons.' I can picture it now, 'You bet your ass he deeded me a Duchy.'
Hep, you are brilliant.
Happy Friday. It took long enough to get here, or is just me?
Moony, that is such special and wonderful news!
Congratulations to Mr. Moony on such a well-deserved honor!
Something to be truly proud of!
