Mornin' Peeps!
Excellent news about Bernie, but I wish she was taking over in June too. Oh well!
Happy Tuesday!

LS, you may have to do a return engagement in July. I'll take care of the bosses...for some odd reason they seem to like me
BTW...last night was an evening of cooking for me. I made chicken liver pate for my friend's son before he disappears to Italy to teach English for the next 6 months. The I made my meatballs for guests that will be arriving in a couple of weeks. I think 50 meatballs should be sufficent.

Yeah, as much as I'd like to, there will be no return engagement unless I win the lottery.
Oh, I may finally get to try your world famous meatballs?

Yes Moony...there will be meatballs with gravy. I make the sauce the day of my guests arrival though. See it's sauce until the meatballs are added...then it's GRAVY!!! A helpful hint for my non-Italian framily. NEVER...NEVER...NEVER freeze your meatballs in the gravy. They always fall apart when you reheat them. I think I should start a helpful hints column. Julia Child recommends defrosting fish in the fridge surrounded with ice. Takes about a day but the crystals don't break down and tear the fish. I wonder if that would work with frozen gravy?
Yes. 8:30 am and I've been to the gym and am leaving for work now. I don't even know who I am anymore.

I did 5.25 miles at the gym last night and am still able to move today, this is just weird.
I'm in a horrible mood. i'm hoping maybe eating will help fix that.

shameys - sorta kinda not really. Pretty much I consume oatmeal, water, green tea, and maybe a salad in a day. Last night after the gym I couldnt take it anymore, and forced myself to have 1 piece of roast chicken....you'd think i was a homeless person the way I devoured it! but it hurt.
I stare at everyone eating their lunches and beg them to describe to me what it tastes like.

Posted: 6/8/10 at 12:21pmI was trying to be good for the past two weeks or so and take a walk along the river after lunch with a group from my office. Friday, we see police everywhere and a report that they pulled a body from the river. Long story short, it was a deer carcass . Today, we walk down and see ten times the police and find out that they've pulled a car out of the river with a body inside -- an apparent suicide. I'll have my salad at my desk from now on.
