Haha, I have to agree that the "mock me with praise" line came out a little weird last night. But, when I saw him perform the song live, I got a little choked up and I don't get choked up. He practically opened a vein on stage and I really thought he might pass out. I was in the second row, center orch, so I was kinda hoping for it.

I have to admit when I saw Company, after everything I'd read about Raul's "Being Alive", I was really looking forward to hearing and seeing it live. Afterwards, I was kind of eh, it was o.k. Certainly no Petrified (from Taboo). I didn't think it was earth shattering at all. On the other hand, I thought his Marry Me A Little was fabulous.

I wasn't that crazy about the story overall of "company" but Raul's performance live was incredible!

I just had to run lunch to my other adopted lil sis who forgot it at home.
