Thanks for the warning. I'm avoiding Grey Gardens for just that reason.
Moony....I'm afraid to say this around because I might be castrated, but I'm not a fan of Grey Gardens.
Hi Moony, Boobs...
The test was great fun (as expected) and they confirmed I definitely do have carpal tunnel in my right hand and wrist. Also some blockage in the elbow. I guess surgery is next. (I didn't even realize that I'd started typing these messages with one hand!)
I found the cutest little smiley - reminds me of Boobs:
LOL Mamie !!!! PERFECT !!
Oh Mamie, sorry to hear. I hope the surgery goes well.
Boobs - I'm a GG fan, but I would never persecute you for not being one! :)
Tink..I have yet to see the documentary, but I wasn't thrilled with the music either...I'm not saying I HATED it, but I couldn't see me sitting through it again like I will with most musicals.
Hello to Tink, Moony and Mamie!

GREY GARDENS is not "depressing." It's very moving, but it also a story of resilience, survival and individuality. It speaks to women, the mother-daughter relationship and the circumstances in which women of certain generations found themselves, but it's not "depressing." My sister thought the same thing before we saw it, but not after.
It's okay, Boobs. You don't have to like what I like. (Besides I can't stand and have never been able to stand the music of the Four Seasons, even as a kid, so I'm never gonna see Jersey Boys!)
*respectfully grabs the jumbo tub of Twizzlers*
Snack, anyone?

Thanks girlie. I'm feeling a little peckish right now.
Someone at work was placing a supplies order yesterday, pointed at a gigantic tub of Twizzlers and asked me, "Should we get this?" And I, of course, said, "I love Twizzlers!" But only the "original" flavor. I'm such a purist!!!
But, but, but, Miss P, you're just too good to be true. I can't take my eyes off of you!
Btw, I won't be in NYC until July, you wouldn't want to postpone your party, wouldja?
You're correct Miss P, we don't have to like the same things...as a matter of fact I think this is the 2nd show that you love and I wasn't thrilled with...at least we love each other.

Yeah, I'd have to admit my tastes in theater are much closer to Boob's than anyone else's. If he doesn't like something on Broadway I can trust that I won't either. And vice-versa. Like JB - can't get enough of them - same for the originals.
"My eyes adored you...."
YUK! *puts fingers in ears*
Shamey, I can't postpone the birthday party, but we can have another in July to celebrate...something!
Boobsy, what's the "other" show? I don't remember. I just know that we both loved DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. (I miss that show.)
Boobsy isn't a big Drowsy fan.
That's a deal, Miss P. I'm sure we can find something to celebrate.
Thanks SOMMSY for letting that cat out of the bag. I really liked Drowsy..but not the way I LOVED "Dirty Rotten" ...I wish Dirty Rotten was still around..adored THAT show !!!!
Isn't Miz Moony's birthday in July? That sounds like a cause for celebration. All of America celebrates her day.

Oh yes, DROWSY. Well, I do love the show, but the primary reason I keep going back again and again is that my kids love it. Sometimes I do things just for them.
Try again, Girly. I'll be in the Bahamas. How patriotic of me!
Miss P I understand that..I went through that with my sons with "Wicked"...they are finally over it...well for now anyway...I'll be in a pickle if Idina comes back tho.
